The Temple of the Forgotten

I had the pleasure of being included in The Bennett Witch Chronicles, a set of sixteen books about Mystic Falls baddest good witch, Bonnie.  After the final season of The Vampire Diaries, Bonnie heads out on her own to see the world, and these are her stories. All the books will be released on October 31, 2017. I had such a good time working with these authors that I wanted to introduce a couple of them to you.

For those readers who are not familiar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Alex H. Singh.  I am easy-going & youthful writer devoted to creating the best experiences for my readers by letting my imagination paint a picture step by step which then gets translated into words, worlds & wonder.

I have been writing since the age of 18 & I am interested in all genres, especially Horror, Thrillers & Sci-Fi.  I am in hopes that everyone will enjoy my “Nubara” series,

Upcoming for 2017 are the following “The Second Husband”, “Fallen Kingdoms Book 2: “Shield of Reflection”, “Fallen Kingdoms Book 3: Sail of Enchanted Threads” Marked, Something Sinister, Fayeted and much more.

2017 brings a plethora of novels releasing within the year on a variety of platforms & Print

Tell us about your Bonnie book. How did you come up with the idea for the story?

First and foremost, I love Bonnie Bennett, always have and always will.  I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if she ended up in India? There are so many myths and legends around the world but I thought why not my home and native land.  So I chose India to be the place where Bonnie’s adventure occurs.

What was the most fun part about writing this book?

The most fun element was introducing new and fresh characters to this Bonnieverse.  I enjoyed creating a story for her. It felt like an episode of The Vampire Diaries but only staring Bonnie of course.

What did you like or dislike about working on a collaborative series?

I LOVE the fact everyone was involved and everyone had each other’s backs. It was nice to meet new creative people. I enjoyed that part greatly.

Tell us about some of your other titles.

Nubara (A Sci Fi Fantasy) series about Atlantis, a Fallen Kingdom & a calamity set in motion to destroy the world!  A group of individuals unknown to one another are brought together by fate only to discover that they are linked by a destiny to thwart an evil that is about to rise once more. A heart pounding series, will the heroes prevail? Will Earth be destroyed?  Read Book One: Destiny Awaits to start your journey.

Welcome to the world of a lonely single mother who is trying to make sense of her life after divorce. With an acting career and a caring sister by her side Demure searches for what she truly desires, what she finds is FINN; a young man who loves for her, or could this be a simple infatuation from a one night stand. Will Demure give in to her feelings? OR will poor Finn pine over DESIRING DEMURE?

Graphic, a story that features an angry spirit, a town full of occultists, a curious girl and a handsome police officer.

Daniela Savan is a young woman trying to start over in a town that hides a terrible secret. As Daniela uncovers a truth that could lead to solving a mystery she is also trailed by an evil spirit of a girl who just does not know how to let go.

Will Daniela survive what’s coming for her or will curiosity kill the girl?

What do you think is the most difficult part of writing in general? What’s the most fun?

I think the most difficult part of writing is trying to tune out all the other wondrous ideas out of your mind and only focus on the idea at hand.

The most fun is getting to create your own world. Similar to the computer game we all love “The Sims”.  You are basically GOD of your world. What happens is your creations therefore it is fun.

Do you draw inspiration from other media (movies, tv, video games, music, etc?)

Inspiration for me comes from life experiences however there are times when I see a move or a TV show and think to myself “This could be so much better if it happened like…”  So yes, inspiration comes from all avenues.

If you had a chance to make any fictional character real, who would it be and why?

I think the fictional character of choosing would be Bonnie herself and not because of this project.  She seems like the type of person I would love to be friends with and seriously who would not want a witchtastical friend? I think it would be fun to go on some adventures with her and battle evil.

What are some of your favorite books or movies?

My favorite film of all times is Stardust based on Neil Gaiman’s novel.  I am very much into my horror films so The Conjuring 1 & 2, Insidious 1, 2, 3 and Lights Out are a few that I love.

What kind of stories would you like to see more of?

I really enjoy dark fairy tales and to be honest I don’t mind much of that genre. It would be nice to have more of those out.

Over the last year or so, what has writing taught you about yourself?

Writing has taught me how to be patient with myself and learn from my mistakes.  It is not an easy task to balance an everyday life and be a full time writer. So I need to learn not to be too hard on myself and take it easy and have fun doing what I enjoy doing the most.

Other than your Bonnie Bennett book, what else do you have coming out soon?

My anticipated novel trilogy Fallen Kingdoms Chronicles Book 1: Lamp of Light, Book 2: Shield of Reflection & Book 3: Sail of Enchanted Threads which is based on my DARK version of Snow White.   Book 1 will be part of a multi author boxed set releasing this November 2017.

Fayeted, another dark fairy tale releases in a Multi Author Boxed set this November 2017!

I am also excited for my Action Thriller “The Second Husband” & my horror novel “Obsecura” both release shortly.
